Sparky is a 10 month old Dalmatian who is full of life, character and plenty of energy. He is a very happy and bouncy young boy who absolutely loves people.
Sparky loves getting attention and being involved in everything that is going on. He can be quite demanding when he wants some fuss, so his new family will need to help him learn some manners and understand that he can’t always have attention especially when he jumps up. He is still only young and has lots to learn, but he is a lovely enthusiastic boy who will thrive with the right guidance and consistency.
Sparky enjoys spending time with other dogs and can get on well with medium to larger dogs. He could potentially live with another similar sized dog who enjoys playing and can match his energy. He can be reactive towards other dogs when he is on lead, so his new owner will need to be prepared to work through this with him and help him learn how to remain calm and focus on his handler when out and about. He can’t live with cats.
Sparky has lived with children before, but he is a very boisterous boy who can get carried away with his excitement. For this reason, we feel a home with children aged 12+ would be the best fit for him.
When he’s not busy making friends, Sparky loves playing with all sorts of toys and would happily spend plenty of time entertaining himself and his family. He also loves getting out and about, and his ideal home would be one where he can enjoy lots of adventures, long walks and hikes.
Sparky is looking for an active family who can give him plenty of company, exercise, enrichment and guidance while he continues to mature into the lovely adult dog he has the potential to be.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate and energetic companion who is ready to join you on your adventures, Sparky could be the boy for you!
