Meet Blue, an 8 month old Border Collie x Lurcher. Blue came in due to no fault of his own and is now seeking his forever home. He is a super active and excitable pup, and he loves people. He would really benefit from a home with collie experience, though its not essential. He needs an owner who is willing to put as much time into tiring out his brain, as well as his legs.

Blue gets along well with children, but can be jumpy and occasionally mouthy so new owners would need to be aware of that. He could live with dog savvy kids that are 8+. Blue cannot live with cats or other small fluffys due to his prey drive. Blue gets along really well with dogs off lead and can play really well. He is, however, reactive and vocal on lead and will need help working through this. Likely just due to his age, lack of training, and a bit of frustration, and will be easy for him to work through once he’s in the correct home and getting the training he needs. He is still young, so undoubtedly has a few bits of basic training that he will need help with in his new home.

Blue is an absolute sweetheart, and a joy to be around. He loves everyone he meets and has a very funny personality. With the right amount of work and time put into him, he will make for a super fun companion. He is quite high drive, loves toys and is super quick and slinky, so would make a great addition to homes that are interested in agility too. If you have an active home, dog experience, and a space and time to fit blue into your life, he might be the one for you!
