The ManxSPCA is delighted to be becoming part of the Peel community, and we would love for you to join us.

Charity shops hold a special place within the work of organisations like ours. They promote recycling, creativity, and community spirit, while raising vital funds to support the hundreds of animals in our care each year.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us on this exciting journey and help bring our new Peel Charity Shop to life. Whether you can spare an hour a week or a few hours now and then, we aim to offer a flexible volunteer rota that allows you to be part of the charity – while perhaps discovering a hidden gem or two along the way!

Our online Volunteer Form is quick and easy to complete, with no need for printing. If you are interested in volunteering at our Peel Charity Shop, we warmly encourage you to fill it in.

All registered volunteers will be contacted by email (or phone/letter if preferred) with details of our upcoming Volunteer Open Day at the new shop, giving you the opportunity to have a look around before we officially open.

You will be guided through the day-to-day running of the shop, and you will never be asked to carry out any tasks you are not comfortable with (such as ironing or pricing). Our aim is to build a welcoming, supportive group of volunteers at the heart of the Peel community.
